Projects
Teeninga Ministry is involved in various international projects to help feed the poor, and help with the development of new technologies to improve conditions of poor areas. But most of all, our projects are about bringing the gospel to people.

Handing out food in Uganda and helping build orphanages

In the January 2019 we went to Uganda to help the people there, together with the apostolic Church of Breakthrough from Drachten. Breakthrough's mission was to bring the gospel, and our mission was to provide help.

We were privileged to hand out bags of rice to children in slums and in an orphanage. We also brought many toys, which the children received with great joy and gratitude. It was also fun to hand out many many many balloons!

The children were sleeping on the dirty hard floor there, which was awful. So we decided to buy mattresses for them, so they could have a decent comfort, cleanliness and body support, for the nights.

Handing out rice and toys in Indonesia

In Indonesia we had a great time helping the poor people. We moved from village to village and searched for the people who really needed help. For them we bought large bags of rice, loaded them on a trailer truck, and handed them out. The people were so grateful for this..

Toys in those areas are very cheap compared to our civilized countries. This allowed us to buy the full stock of a toy store. We bought many balloons, barby dolls, you name it. We went to an orphanage and handed it out there. It was amazing great fun to see those poor children receive something, their eyes lighting up with joy and gratitude.

This trip was in 2017 and we plan to return again sometime. As we grow, we will be able to bring more and more to help the people. Also we will be able to make better videos for publishing on our website.

Handing out rice and treats in Gambia

In Gambia we also had a great time helping the poor people. Again, we moved from village to village and searched for the people who really needed help. For them we bought large bags of rice, loaded them in a large car, and we handed them out. The people were so grateful for this, and it allowed us to bring them the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We also bought bags full of lollypops, to hand them out to the children. This was quite the experience! When we handed them out to a few, out of nowhere came many children surrounding us, so much that we had to retreat into our car. And a large mass of children stood around the car, we could almost not move out from there.

This trip was in 2017 and we plan to return again in 2018. As we grow, we will be able to bring more and more to help the people. Also we will be able to make better videos for publishing on our website.

Handing out food packages in the slums of Romania

In Romania we had a very special time. It was both exciting as it was heartbreaking. We bought a big stock of food packages of which one single package can supply a family for a week. We visited various towns, and visited the slums there. What we saw was heartbreaking, the terrible conditions those people lived in. Still, it was a great experience to be able to supply them with a week's worth of food in a package.

What was the best about visiting those slums is how able they were to receive the gospel. It was easy to get to talk with those people and tell them about Jesus Christ. They were eager to hear, and we had the precious privilege to lead some of them to The Lord, and give them some guidance.

Evangelizing in Israel

In Israel we had a great time bringing the gospel to the jews. When it came to helping out people, we saw that we didn't need to do anything, because the jews put bread on all the benches for the tramps to be fed.

On the streets, various jews allowed us to pray for them. It's amazing how receptive they were! We also visited many places where Jesus walked around about 2000 years ago. We were given a Shofar (rams horn), and it was anointed in the next 5 minutes. We were also taught how to use it. This all happened in the christian tower in Jerusalem. Amazing how we were allowed to be there in the holy land of God.
